Role Overview

We are seeking a person for a senior position in Naval Sales & Business Development domain with a strong background in the Indian Navy. The ideal candidate will leverage their operational and technical expertise to drive business growth in the defense and naval simulation domain.

This role is best suited for a retired or transitioning Indian Naval Officer who understands naval training systems, operational requirements — and is looking to build a commercial career in simulation and digital technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business development initiatives for ARI’s defense and naval simulation solutions.
  • Leverage Indian Navy experience to engage with naval training commands, shipyards, defense establishments, and government authorities.
  • Identify, pursue, and manage new sales opportunities in the naval and defense segments.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling product presentations, technical demos, and proposals.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key stakeholders within the Indian Navy, Ministry of Defence, and allied sectors.
  • Collaborate with ARI’s technical and product teams to tailor solutions to client requirements.
  • Stay updated with defense procurement policies, naval modernization initiatives, and simulation technology trends.
  • Represent ARI at defense exhibitions, seminars, and industry events.

Requirements

  • Ex-Indian Navy Officer (preferably Commander or above) with operational, training, or staff experience.
  • Strong understanding of naval operations, training systems, and procurement processes.
  • Excellent communication, networking, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business acumen with an interest in sales, strategy, and technology-driven solutions.
  • Prior experience in sales, consulting, or defense business development is desirable but not mandatory.
  • Willingness to travel for client meetings and events.
