Details on Tech Stack Java Spring Framework Google Cloud Platform (GCP) Github and Github Actions BigQuery Microservices Architecture RESTful APIsMinimum Requirements to the Candidate Strong proficiency in Java with at least 5 years of experience Extensive experience with Spring Framework Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform, particularly BigQuery Solid understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns Experience with unit and integration testing (e.g., JUnit, Mockito) Knowledge of microservices architecture and Serverless approach Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work in the 2nd shift and map to US ET 8-11 AM timezoneNice to Have Requirements to the Candidate Experience with other cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) Knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines Experience with message queuing systems (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) Understanding of pricing strategies in retail or e-commerceResponsibilities Design, develop, and maintain the pricing system using Java, Spring, and GCP technologies Implement complex pricing algorithms and rules Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for the pricing service Optimize service performance and ensure high availability Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and technical constraints Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for the pricing system Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices and coding standards Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production environments Stay updated with the latest Java and Spring developments
