About the Role

Senior Java Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality, scalable, and secure Java applications.
• Work extensively with

  Spring Boot, Hibernate, and PostgreSQL

  to build efficient backend systems.
• Implement

  event-driven architecture

  using

  Apache Kafka

  for real-time data streaming.
• Apply

  software design patterns and best practices

  to ensure clean, maintainable, and reusable code.
• Collaborate with product managers, UI/UX teams, and QA engineers to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Optimize application performance, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis.
• Mentor junior developers and actively contribute to code reviews and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and bring innovative solutions to the team.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education:

  B.Tech in Computer Science or equivalent.

• Experience:

  5–8 years in backend development with strong proficiency in Java.
• Hands-on expertise in:

• Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA

• PostgreSQL

  (complex queries, indexing, optimization)

• Apache Kafka

  (producers, consumers, stream processing)

• Design Patterns & Object-Oriented Programming

• RESTful API design and microservices architecture

• Solid understanding of

  database design, transactions, and performance tuning

  .
• Experience with

  Git, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes)

  is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and ability to work in an agile environment.
