Role Overview: We are seeking a Senior Java Developer with strong backend expertise and deep knowledge of modern Java frameworks and cloud-native technologies. You will design and maintain scalable enterprise applications and microservices, working closely with architects, product managers, and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, mission-critical software in an agile environment. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, and Hibernate. Build and manage RESTful microservices in a distributed architecture. Work with AWS services for cloud-based deployments, configuration, and monitoring. Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and performance tuning. Lead or mentor junior developers and collaborate with QA, DevOps, and product teams. Ensure code quality through unit testing, integration testing, and adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely solutions. Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment strategies. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or related field. Strong proficiency with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Security). Proficient in Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL. Experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs and understanding of microservices architecture. Solid understanding of object-oriented programming, design patterns, and best coding practices. Familiarity with AWS / Equivalent Cloud services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, API Gateway, etc.). Proficient with version control tools (e.g., Git) and build tools such as Maven or Gradle. Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or other container orchestration tools. Exposure to NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, DynamoDB. Knowledge of message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or CloudWatch. Prior experience working in agile/scrum teams and fast-paced development environments.
