Senior Java Kafka Developer

Responsibilities:

• Architect, build, and maintain

  Kafka producers and consumers

  , including Kafka Streams and Connect pipelines for real-time streaming systems.
• Develop

  Java (Java 8+) microservices

  using

  Spring Boot

  , working with REST APIs and backend services .
• Operate and configure

  Kafka clusters

  —topics, partitions, brokers, ZooKeeper/KRaft, Schema Registry.
• Troubleshoot messaging issues, optimize throughput and latency, and ensure high availability and security.
• Work with

  SQL (e.g. MySQL/Postgres) and NoSQL databases

  (e.g. MongoDB) for backend integration.
• Integrate microservices and message pipelines within

  Docker

  ,

  Kubernetes/ECS

  , and CI/CD environments.

Eligility:

• 5–8 years

  hands-on experience in Java-based application development
• Strong expertise with

  Apache Kafka

  —producers, consumers, stream processing, configuration and administration.
• Solid experience building

  Spring Boot microservices

  and RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB).
• Familiarity with Kafka ecosystem components: Connect, Streams, Schema Registry.
• Linux/Unix proficiency and shell scripting experience.
• Experience with containerization (Docker), orchestration tools (Kubernetes, ECS).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
