About the Role

Metasage Alliance is looking for a passionate Senior Innovation Officer (AI & Robotics) to lead MetaINNOVA innovation lab activities in partner schools (Classes 1–12) in and around Coimbatore.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in IoT, Robotics, AI and STEM education, and be confident in handling both theory classes and practical lab sessions, guiding students to build real-world projects and participate in competitions.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct structured theory classes based on the MetaINNOVA school curriculum for Classes 1–12 (age-appropriate content).

Deliver practical lab sessions in IoT, Robotics, and AI using school innovation lab tools and equipment.

Design and deliver lesson plans aligned with school curriculum and real-world applications.

Guide students to build projects, models, and prototypes for exhibitions, ATL fairs, and competitions (e.g., ATL Tinkering Marathon, RoboCup, WRO, etc.).

Support students in building projects using microcontrollers, sensors, and actuators (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).

Assist in setting up, managing, and maintaining school AI & Robotics / Innovation Labs.

Run activity-based sessions, mini-challenges, and assessments to build interest and track learning.

Maintain student performance records, project documentation, and weekly reporting to Metasage Alliance and school management.

Ensure lab safety, discipline, and proper usage of all lab equipment and tools.

Coordinate with school staff and act as the primary point of contact for MetaINNOVA activities in the school.

Stay updated with latest trends in EdTech, robotics, AI and STEM education, and integrate them into sessions.

Represent Metasage Alliance professionally within the school’s academic environment and during events/competitions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering / CSE / ECE / AI / Mechatronics or equivalent.

Minimum 5 years of total experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on STEM training in:

IoT, Robotics, Artificial Intelligence

Digital Media & Coding

Design Thinking and Innovation & Project-Based Learning

3–5 years of compulsory experience in:

Handling IoT kits, sensors, and microcontrollers (Arduino, ESP32, Raspberry Pi, etc.).

Teaching Robotics (basic to intermediate), including controllers and actuators.

Delivering AI basics, ML fundamentals, image classification, or block-based AI tools for children.

Technical Skills

Proficient in Arduino, basic electronics, and circuit building.

Knowledge of Scratch / block-based coding, Tinkercad or similar simulation tools.

Experience with tools like LEGO Mindstorms, Raspberry Pi, VEX, or equivalent robotics platforms (added advantage).

Additional Requirements

Prior experience teaching or training school students (Classes 1–12) – strongly preferred.

Strong communication skills in English and Tamil.

Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for children of different age groups.

Good classroom management, patience, and student engagement skills.

Passion to inspire and motivate young minds towards STEM and innovation.
