Senior Industrial Designer

Role Overview: As a Senior Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for leading the design process from concept development to product realization. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to create innovative, user-centered designs that align with the company's vision and market needs. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the development of design concepts for new and existing products, ensuring they meet user needs and business objectives. - Create sketches, renderings, and 3D models to communicate design ideas effectively. - Conduct in-depth research on market trends, user behavior, and competitive products to inform design decisions. - Facilitate brainstorming sessions and design reviews to generate innovative solutions. - Oversee prototyping and testing phases to validate functionality, usability, and aesthetics. - Collaborate closely with engineering, marketing, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and product integrity. - Mentor junior designers, providing guidance and constructive feedback to foster professional growth. - Stay updated on emerging technologies, materials, and manufacturing processes to drive innovation. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Design or a related field. - 5+ years of experience in industrial design, preferably in consumer products or a related industry. - Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite, SolidWorks, Rhino, or equivalent. - Strong sketching and visualization skills to communicate complex design concepts effectively. - Deep understanding of design principles, ergonomics, materials, and manufacturing processes. - Proven ability to lead projects from concept to production, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams. - Excellent communication and presentation skills to articulate design vision and rationale. - A strong portfolio showcasing innovative design projects and process work is required.
