Job Description

Job Summary

The Senior HR Officer will be responsible for overseeing core HR operations including payroll processing, recruitment, statutory compliance, labour management, and attendance monitoring. The role requires hands-on experience with ERP systems, recruitment portals, and strong knowledge of Haryana labour laws to ensure smooth HR functioning in compliance with legal and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Payroll Management

    • Prepare and process monthly salaries using ERP systems.
    • Ensure accuracy of salary calculations, deductions, and reimbursements.
    • Coordinate with finance for timely salary disbursement.
  2. Recruitment & Staffing

    • Source, screen, and shortlist candidates through Naukri.com and other relevant platforms.
    • Coordinate interviews and manage end-to-end recruitment for various positions.
    • Handle labour hiring for factory/plant operations as per manpower requirements.
  3. Attendance & Leave Management

    • Maintain and monitor attendance records through ERP.
    • Manage leave requests, approvals, and balances.
    • Ensure timely closure of attendance for payroll.
  4. Statutory Compliance

    • Handle ESI and PF registration of new employees.
    • Ensure timely submission of monthly ESI/PF challans and returns.
    • Maintain compliance with all applicable statutory regulations.
  5. Labour Hiring & Management

    • Coordinate with contractors/vendors for manpower supply.
    • Monitor labour productivity, discipline, and attendance.
    • Resolve labour grievances in a timely and effective manner.
  6. Legal & Compliance

    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Haryana labour laws and ensure adherence.
    • Handle inspections, audits, and necessary documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Graduate in any discipline (Preferably in HR/Management).
  • Minimum

    3-5 years

    of experience in HR operations, preferably in manufacturing.
  • Hands-on experience with ERP systems for payroll and attendance.
  • Strong knowledge of statutory compliance (ESI, PF) and Haryana labour laws.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
