Job Role

We are seeking an Electronics Hardware Developer responsible for design, testing, and validation of hardware systems for industrial products, particularly AC Drives. The role involves schematic design, power electronics circuit development, analog electronics, troubleshooting, and hardware validation to ensure reliable and high-performance products for industrial automation.

Key Responsibilities

Hardware Design & Development

  • Design, develop, and validate hardware circuits for power electronics and analog electronics applications, specifically for AC drives.
  • Prepare and review schematics, layouts, and BOMs for industrial-grade electronic systems.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards, EMI/EMC guidelines, and industrial product requirements.

Testing & Validation

  • Develop test plans and validation procedures for newly designed hardware.
  • Conduct performance, reliability, and environmental testing of hardware modules.
  • Validate integration of power and analog circuits with embedded controllers.

Troubleshooting & Optimization

  • Perform root cause analysis of hardware failures and propose design improvements.
  • Support production and field teams in resolving hardware-related issues.
  • Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability, thermal management, and cost-effectiveness.

Collaboration & Documentation

  • Work closely with embedded software developers, mechanical engineers, and production teams to ensure seamless integration.
  • Maintain detailed documentation of designs, test results, and validation reports.
  • Provide technical support during prototyping and production ramp-up.

Preferred candidate profile

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in in Electronics / Electronics & Telecommunications (or equivalent).

Experience:

  • 8+ years in hardware design and development for power electronics / industrial products.
  • Hands-on experience in AC drive hardware, motor control, and analog/digital electronics.

Technical Skills:

  • Power electronics (inverters, rectifiers, DC-DC converters, motor drives).
  • Analog and digital circuit design.
  • Schematic capture and PCB design tools (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, KiCad).
  • Hardware validation, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of EMI/EMC design considerations.
  • Familiarity with microcontrollers, DSPs, and hardware-software integration.

  • Team collaboration and cross-functional communication.
  • Attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
