Job Description

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE TO:

  • Lead the development of mixed-signal electronics for products such as voltmeters, phasing tools, voltage detectors, and dielectric testers including embedded electronics.

  • Define, plan, and coordinate product development, qualification, safety, and regulatory compliance testing.

  • Conduct concept feasibility studies and technical risk evaluations for new products.

  • Evaluate new and emerging technologies and recommend adoption for future designs.

  • Ensure smooth transition to production by creating test specifications, supporting design for manufacturability, and collaborating with suppliers.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring for junior engineers, including hands-on problem solving, debugging, and design reviews.

  • Support field investigations and resolve manufacturing or supply chain issues throughout the product lifecycle.

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

  • Bachelor s / Master s degree in electrical / electronics engineering or a related field.

  • Minimum experience of 7+ years for Bachelor s OR 5+ years for Master s degree in field of electronics design.

  • Strong proficiency in mixed-signal circuit design and PCBA layout.

  • Experience with test equipment and measurement techniques.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • Knowledge of electric and magnetic field theory and its application to high-voltage measurement and safety.

    • Electronics design for High voltage measurement will be an added advantage.

  • Familiarity with electrical safety, functional safety, and EMC compliance standards (UL, CSA, CE, IEC, FCC).

  • Experience with microcontroller-based embedded systems, including power management and communication interfaces.

  • Experience with reliability modeling and rugged environmental design for harsh, high-voltage utility environments.

  • Hands-on experience with rechargeable, battery-powered systems for low-power optimization.

  • Design experience with mass-produced electronics (PCBs, cable assemblies, sensors, etc. ).

  • Strong background in problem solving and debugging across both lab and field environments.
