Job Description


  • Own the end-to-end design and delivery of new features and content systems that enhance player engagement, retention, and monetization
  • Translate high-level business and creative goals into detailed feature specs, wireframes, and documentation
  • Partner closely with Product, Analytics, and Engineering to design, tune, and optimize features based on player behavior and game KPIs
  • Work hands-on to conceptualize, prototype, and iterate on meta systems, game modes, events, challenges, and social mechanics that align with the game s audience and brand tone
  • Evaluate live data and player feedback to identify opportunities for iterative improvements to core loops, game modes and live-ops features
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Art, UX, Production) to ensure features are implemented to spec and deliver strong player experiences
  • Contribute to systems design discussions around economy, progression, and balancing to support feature goals
  • Stay current on market trends, competitor titles, and evolving F2P design strategies to ensure

  • Mentor junior designers by providing feedback and guiding best practices in documentation, ideation, and execution

What We re Looking For

  • 6+ years of experience in game design, including feature ownership in live F2P mobile games
    Proven ability to design and deliver impactful live features such as game modes, challenges, events, clubs, and battle passes, to name a few
  • Experience working on a long-running live game (3+ years lifecycle preferred)
  • Strong understanding of feature design fundamentals player motivation, usability, pacing, and reward systems
  • Familiarity with systems and economy design, including tuning, progression modeling, and numerical balancing
  • Analytical mindset - comfortable interpreting data to inform design choices
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills across disciplines
  • Excellent documentation skills - able to clearly articulate design intent through specs, diagrams, and user flows
  • Hands-on experience with Advanced Excel and Google Sheets
  • Passion for F2P mobile games, especially character-collection RPGs and combat-based systems.
    Bachelor s degree in Game Design, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Bonus Points

  • Experience designing features for character-collection RPGs or combat-based mobile titles
  • Proficiency with Unity & Git
  • Strong Excel or scripting skills for prototyping and balancing
  • Ability to mentor other designers and influence cross-team creative direction
