Job Description

As an experienced professional in the field of finance and accounting, your role will involve reviewing daily cash contributions and distributions for investment fund clients. You will be responsible for inquiring about cash and journal entries, as well as participating in quarterly and annual audit functions. Additionally, you will assist with the open items list and communicate with auditors. Your regular communication with clients should be prompt and demonstrate a sense of urgency. It is crucial for you to understand the governing agreements between Alter Domus and the client. Your qualifications should include an accounting degree with high-quality grades and 4 to 8 years of experience in performing audits on private equity. Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with a solid understanding of different types of investments such as equity, debt, co-invest, and FoF. Your keen attention to detail and critical thinking skills will be valuable assets in this role. You should be capable of multitasking and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team with professionals at all levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and having a CPA or the intention to obtain one is preferred.,
