As a Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing financial statements, handling capital calls and distributions, managing expense accruals, and ensuring the accuracy of income accounting.What to expect in your journey

• Preparing financial statements reporting, Bank reconciliations for all Fund entities, Feeder fund financial statement and financial statement preparation.
• Quarterly reporting on property-level information, Capital account schedules, Rolling the Q reporting calendar forward and Proforma capital account schedules.
• Researching sources of reconciliation breaks and liaise with supervisor and counterparty contacts to resolve breaks in a timely manner.
• Audit requests
• Tax deliverables
• Rolling audit footnotes forward updating
• Financial statements for Separate Accounts
• Preparation of Financial Statements, financial statement footnotes, Capital account schedule and Accruals.
• Monitoring cash and margin balances and escalating shortfalls as needed.
• Assisting with regulatory filing obligations FATCA/CRS, ES, BO fillings.
• Preparing requests for invoice payments and associated supporting schedules.
• Working on ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Quarterly report updates for Fund-level information
• Quarterly reporting tie out and footing of reports
• Capital account schedules
• Accrued preference schedules rolling
• Side letter reporting updates
• Rolling the Quarterly reporting calendar forward
• Proforma capital account schedules
  

What you bring to the table

• Candidate must be a qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA) with at least 4 years post qualification work experience.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS, simple financial products, various fund fee and equalization structures, offshore regulatory requirements for investment structures preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Applications (Word, Advance Excel etc.)
• GAAP accounting knowledge (understanding of consolidation vs. equity method accounting)
