Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node.js, NestJS, React.js)

Key Responsibilities:

• Full Stack Development:

  Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and secure applications from concept to deployment.

• Back-End Expertise:

• Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js with expert-level knowledge of the NestJS framework.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Work with various databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB, designing schemas and optimizing queries for performance.

• Front-End Expertise:

• Build and maintain user interfaces using React.js and modern front-end technologies.
• Utilise frameworks like Next.js or React Js to develop server-side rendered (SSR) and static-generated applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility, accessibility, and high performance of the applications.

• DevOps & Deployment:

• Collaborate with the DevOps team to manage and deploy applications on different platforms.
• Work together to implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless and automated deployments.
• Coordinate efforts to monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure system reliability through joint initiatives with the DevOps team.

• Architectural Design:

  Contribute to the architectural decisions and technical roadmap of our products.

• Mentorship & Leadership:

  Mentor junior engineers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices in software development.

• Collaboration:

  Work effectively within an Agile team, participating in stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.

Preferred Skills

• Experience:

  5+ years of professional experience in full-stack web development.

• Node.js & NestJS:

  Expert-level knowledge of Node.js and an extensive track record of building complex applications using the NestJS framework.

• React.js & Next.js:

  Proven expertise in React.js and experience with frameworks like Next.js for building scalable front-ends.

• Databases:

  Hands-on experience with at least two of the following databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and MongoDB.

• DevOps:

  Experience with collaboration with DevOps team, along with familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitHub Actions.

• Version Control:

  Strong proficiency with Git and collaborative workflows.

• Problem-Solving:

  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

• Communication:

  Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Team Player:

  Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Additional Skills(preferable):

• Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
• Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Experience with GraphQL.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Playwright).
