Role Overview

We are looking for a talented and driven Backend Developer with 3+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js to join our growing tech team.

In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and developing high-performance backend systems and APIs, working across both MongoDB and MySQL databases.

If you’re passionate about backend technologies and love solving complex technical challenges, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities

 Develop, maintain, and scale backend applications using Node.js.

 Design and build robust RESTful APIs and microservices.

 Manage and integrate databases including MongoDB and MySQL.

 Collaborate closely with frontend developers, UI/UX designers, and product managers to deliver seamless user experiences.

 Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code that follows industry best practices.

 Participate in code reviews and agile development sprints.

 Diagnose, debug, and resolve application issues in a timely manner.

 Optimize application performance, scalability, and security. Required Skills & Qualifications

 Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related technical field.

 Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with Node.js in a production environment.

 Solid hands-on experience with MongoDB and MySQL databases.

 Strong understanding of asynchronous programming, callbacks, and event-driven architectures.  Proven experience in building and consuming REST APIs.

 Proficient with Git and version control practices.

 Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Preferred Skills

 Experience with Express.js or similar Node.js frameworks.

 Exposure to Docker and containerized environments.

 Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

 Knowledge of backend security best practices.
