As a Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst at Wells Fargo, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Consumer Banking & Lending Finance team in India. Your responsibilities will include: - Leading the end-to-end budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes, as well as executive and business reporting. - Delivering timely and accurate financial reporting and variance analysis. - Partnering with the business to provide insights on performance drivers and risks. - Preparing and presenting executive-level dashboards, business reviews, and financial summaries. - Translating complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for senior leadership. - Leading and contributing to finance transformation initiatives, including automation, process optimization, standardization, and system enhancements. - Driving standardization and scalability of FP&A processes across regions and functions. - Partnering with global finance teams and functional stakeholders to align financial strategies with business goals. - Providing strategic financial support and insights across Consumer Banking & lending products. - Analyzing Month end/Quarter end close results, performing variance analysis, and providing actionable commentary to senior leadership. - Conducting deep dive analytics and trend analysis to support business decisions. - Performing complex variance and trend analyses and communicating recommendations. - Supporting ad hoc business and finance needs across Consumer Banking & Lending functions. - Supporting ad hoc analysis and business case development for new AI and analytics capabilities. - Managing and validating financial models, including documentation, back-testing, and KPI tracking. - Ensuring compliance with model risk management policies and maintaining documentation. - Demonstrating strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills. Qualifications required for this role include: - 4+ years of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of work experience, training, military experience, or education. Desired qualifications: - MBA, CA, CMA, or CFA or equivalent qualification. - Hands-on experience in LOB/product reporting, analysis, dashboard creation & storytelling by partnering with Business teams. - Proficiency in financial modeling, template building, and presentation skills. - Advanced knowledge of MS Office and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau). - Experience with Essbase, Hyperion, Cognos, SQL, Power Query, Power Apps, and SAS. - Hands-on experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in financial analysis, forecasting, or reporting. - Ability to work independently and in a team environment. - Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. - Comfortable working in flexible timings to maximize overlap with US counterparts. In addition to the qualifications, you are expected to have experience in Consumer Banking & Lending domain and strategic finance business partnering, performance reporting, headcount analysis, and cost optimization. You should have the ability to translate financials and data into actionable insights & dashboards, with high attention to detail and accuracy in financial analysis and reporting.
