Senior Finance and Accounting Manager

As a Senior Finance & Accounting Manager at Shuru, you will play a pivotal role in building and scaling the finance backbone of the company. Your responsibilities will include leading core accounting functions, driving automation and system implementation, and providing visibility into financial performance to guide decision-making. Key Responsibilities: - Own the monthly close process, ensuring timely preparation of P&L by service line/project, balance sheet, and cash flow statements within T+7 timeframe. - Design and implement revenue recognition policies (ASC 606 / IFRS 15) for various types of contracts. - Manage multi-entity, multi-currency accounting, including consolidations and intercompany transactions. - Prepare management reporting packs including KPIs, board updates, and investor-ready dashboards. - Develop and manage internal policies such as approval matrix, maker-checker controls, and SOP documentation. Qualifications Required: - 8-12 years of progressive finance and accounting experience, ideally with a mix of Big 4 or public accounting and in-house roles at IT services or consulting firms. - Expertise in US GAAP and IFRS, project-based accounting, and managing multi-currency and multi-entity operations. - Proven experience in revenue recognition (ASC 606/IFRS 15) and setting up scalable accounting processes. - Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency; exposure to tools like Zoho Books/Finance is a plus. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. - Experience in implementing finance systems (ERP, PSA, billing, etc.) and improving operational efficiency.
