Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure building facilities and services meet the needs of occupants and maintain building equipment.
  • Responsible for P&L management of building maintenance operations.
  • Manage and supervise contractors, coordinating their work efficiently.
  • Calculate and compare costs for goods and services to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Allocate and manage facility space for maximum operational efficiency.
  • Prepare facility reports and maintain building equipment maintenance charts.
  • Conduct and document regular inspections of facilities and systems.
  • Develop and implement facility management programs, including preventive maintenance and life-cycle planning.
  • Direct, coordinate, and plan essential services such as reception, security, cleaning, waste disposal, and archiving.
  • Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
  • Monitor and improve service levels using performance management techniques.
  • Respond promptly to emergencies and handle urgent facility-related issues effectively.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and manage relationships with external contractors.
  • Provide quick and efficient responses to facility occupants' requests and concerns.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, electrical systems, and overall facility operations
  • Ability to manage P&L and budget planning for facility operations
  • Proven experience in vendor and contractor management
  • Understanding of facility safety, statutory norms, and compliance requirements
  • Experience in preventive maintenance planning and lifecycle management of building assets
  • Proficiency in facility audits, reporting, checklists, and documentation
  • Ability to manage essential services including security, housekeeping, and waste management
  • Strong analytical and cost-comparison skills for procurement and resource management
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to emergency or urgent facility-related issues
