Senior Expert (Telecom Domain)

Key Requirements:

1. Overarching Telecom Product Understanding

• Candidate must have broad, cross-functional knowledge across key 

  Telecom BSS systems

   like:

• EPC (Enterprise Product Catalog)

• APRM (Pricing and Revenue Management)

• Billing systems

• CSM (Customer Service Management)

• Not looking for a niche specialist in just one of these areas, but someone who understands how these systems 

  interact

  , and how 

  offers/price plans

   flow through the ecosystem (e.g., from catalog to billing to downstream systems).

1. Hands-On Technical Capability

• Should be 

  technically inclined

   with the ability to:
• Dive into code/configuration if needed
• Analyze logic (e.g., proration, batch jobs, usage rating)
• Work closely on 

  solutioning

   activities with the team
• Must be 

  comfortable with technical discussions

   and 

  problem-solving

  .

1. Billing Expertise is Critical

• Strong focus on candidates who understand 

  telecom billing logic and architecture

  .
• Should be able to understand how billing integrates with other systems and impacts downstream flows.

1. Years of Experience

• Ideal range: 

  12–17 years

• Open to more experienced candidates 

  only if

   they are still 

  hands-on

   and not purely in managerial or program leadership roles.
• Avoid overly senior "program runners" who won’t contribute at a technical level.

1. Soft Requirements

• Should be a 

  self-starter

   capable of running with complex solutioning tasks.
• Someone who can work independently while still aligning with the broader program goals.

Not Required / Avoid:

• Candidates with experience 

  only in CSM

   or similarly outdated tools with 

  no exposure to EPC or billing

• Very senior profiles who are 

  not hands-on

  .
• Candidates with only 

  narrow or siloed experience

   in a single area.
