Senior EXIM Administrator

Purpose of the Job

EXIM administrators are responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of Export and import activities at INMA of G6 Lab. They must make sure that products are handled properly throughout the entire process from Import to Export and comply with company & statutory standards and procedures. Ensure that all documents are prepared & maintained in accordance with the statutory legal compliance.

Requirements

Education

• Minimum diploma or BE or graduation with 5 years experience

Experience

• 3 - 5 years experienced person

Other skills

• SAP knowledge is a must.
• Experience of operating in a supervisory capacity within a fast paced, highly pressurized EXIM Logistics and distribution environment.
• Good knowledge of both domestic and international freight forwarders
• Certified in: Dangerous & hazardous goods handling.
• Good knowledge of sustainability and Green supply chain
• Good IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills
• Good knowledge of GST, Customs, DGFT & EOU.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities (Tasks & Deliverables):

• Must have good knowledge of EXIM, Foreign trade regulations, GST, Certificate of origin and related statutory compliances.
• New implementation/ changes in SAP process/Share Point requirement with CIT support
• Ensure all dispatch requests are processed efficiently and that the delivery of materials meets customers timescales/requirements. Ensure that internal delivery processes are adhered.
• Must have fair knowledge about Letter of Credit and the conditions prescribed in LC documents
• Co-ordinate with Global Freight management team to ensure optimized delivery TAT and freight cost.
• Lead follow up and resolve internal and external Customer concerns.
• Deliver efficiencies to support year on year KPIs related EXIM and freight cost optimization
• In conjunction with the Head of Logistics, implement EXIM SOP and management systems and working practices in line with best practice and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and review operational methods to facilitate both qualitative and quantitative improvements within the EXIM operation ensuring continuous customer service.
• Ensure sustainability and green supply chain in the organization
• Co-ordination with Insurance company/brokers for settlement of claims
• Co-ordination of Imports and Exports through FTWZ

Key Requirement/Minimum Eligibility :

• Good computer knowledge (SAP & MS Office)

• Communication:

  for a EXIM administrator, required to communicate with employees, managers, Global team and other company representatives on daily basis. Also required to communicate with suppliers, customers and other individuals outside of the company. Effective communication skills to convey information clearly and efficiently through email, teams meeting & verbal.
• Also must have good negotiation and decision making skills to negotiate with service providers and also to make decision regarding mode of transport.
• Data analysis: Ability to interpret information, understand and draw conclusions from it. Data analysis is a valuable skill for this position because it allows to make the decisions about companys requirements.

• Attention to detail:

  Attention to detail a crucial skill for EXIM administrators, as often handle large amounts of crucial data and paperwork. Attention to detail ensure that all of the given tasks are correctly completed on time and to ensure that the statutory records are accurate. Ensure to handle any customer service issues effectively.
