Senior Executive - Site Engineer

Role Overview: As a Site Engineer - Senior Executive, your primary responsibility is to visit shortlisted properties along with the BD Team for Project due diligence. This involves conducting site measurements and technical inspections. You will be required to fill out the site validation checklist for any New/Relocation pods. Additionally, you will need to draft the floor plan hand sketch on a grid sheet and prepare the SLD (Single Line Diagram) & SDR (Site Data Report) of the store property. These details must be shared with the designer (Draftsman) for preparing the block layout. Your role will also include coordinating with the draftsman by providing technical inputs as per SDR for preparing detailed drawings & BOQ. The detailed GFC (Good for Construction) drawings will then be used to explain the vendor along with the project manager for executing the construction smoothly. Key Responsibilities: - Operations: Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of vendors, including routine work. - Quality Assurance: Inspect all materials used at the site against the specs approved in the BOQ. - Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and operations satisfaction. Analyze data, performance metrics, and feedback to drive operational excellence. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pod Operations, Facility Management, and the business development team, to optimize operations and address any issues or bottlenecks to complete the targeted tasks. Foster effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Qualification Required: - Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. - Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role in construction projects. - Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials. - Excellent project management and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. - Familiarity with tools such as PERT charts and Gantt charts for project planning and execution.
