Senior Executive - Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer - Senior Executive, your primary responsibility will be to visit the shortlisted properties with the BD Team for Project due diligence. This involves conducting site measurements and technical inspections. You will be required to fill out the site validation checklist for any New/Relocation pods. Additionally, you need to draft the floor plan hand sketch in a grid sheet and prepare the SLD (Single line diagram) & SDR (site data report) of the store property. These details should be shared with the designer (Draftsman) for preparing the block layout. Your coordination with the draftsman by providing technical inputs as per SDR will be essential for preparing the detailed drawings & BOQ. The detailed GFC (Good for construction) drawings will be instrumental in explaining the project to the vendor and project manager for smooth construction execution. Furthermore, you must persistently monitor outsourced contractors to ensure the quantity and quality of work executed on site align with the specifications approved in the BOQ. It is crucial to keep a check on all materials used at the site against the approved specs. In terms of construction planning, you will play a vital role in ensuring that the construction is planned as per the PERT (Project evaluation & review technique) chart. The Gantt chart/PERT will aid in completing the work within the set timeline. It will be your responsibility to provide day-to-day updates on site progress to the project manager. In case of any necessary changes in the drawings due to site conditions during execution, your team must correct and update the drawings for reference. Post-construction completion, you will need to validate each scope of work with measurement sheets through a third-party auditor. The handover of the pod to the OPS/Maintenance & Facility team must be done by clearing any snag points within the stipulated period. Key Responsibilities: - Operations: Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of vendors, including routine work. - Quality Assurance: Inspect all materials used at the site against the approved specifications in the BOQ. - Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and operational satisfaction. Analyze data, performance metrics, and feedback to drive operational excellence. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pod Operations, Facility Management, and the business development team, to optimize operations and address any issues or bottlenecks in completing targeted tasks. Foster effective communication and relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Key Outcomes: - Optimize construction processes & workflows to ensure the upkeep & efficient performance of all equipment for order fulfillment and timely delivery of grocery products.,
