Senior Executive - Site Engineer

As a Site Engineer - Senior Executive, your primary responsibility is to visit the shortlisted properties along with the BD Team for Project due diligence. This involves site measurements and technical inspection. You will fill out the site validation checklist for any New/Relocation pods. Additionally, you need to draft the floor plan hand sketch in a grid sheet and prepare the SLD (Single line diagram) & SDR (site data report) of the store property. These details are then shared with the designer (Draftsman) for preparing the block layout. You will further coordinate with the draftsman by providing the technical inputs as per SDR for preparing the detailed drawings & BOQ. The detailed GFC (Good for construction) drawings will be used to explain the vendor along with the project manager for executing the construction smoothly. Your role also involves persistently keeping a check on outsourced contractors regarding the quantity and quality of the work executed on site. It is important to inspect all the materials used at the site against the specs approved in the BOQ. Ensuring that the construction at the site is planned as per the PERT (Project evaluation & review technique) chart is one of your responsibilities. The Gantt chart/PERT will play a crucial role in completing the entire work timely. You are required to update the site progress to the project manager on a day-to-day basis. In case of any changes required in the drawings based on site conditions during execution, the team corrects and updates the drawings for reference. Once the construction is completed, you need to ensure that each scope of work is validated with measurement sheets through a third-party auditor. Handing over the pod to the OPS/Maintenance & Facility team by clearing the snag points within the stipulated period is essential. Key Responsibilities: - Operations: Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the vendors, including routine work. - Quality Assurance: Inspect all the materials used at the site against the specs approved in the BOQ. - Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance efficiency, productivity, and operations satisfaction. Analyze data, performance metrics, and feedback to drive operational excellence. - Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Pod Operations, Facility Management, and business development team, to optimize operations and address any issues or bottlenecks to complete the targeted tasks.
