Senior Executive - Legal

As a Senior Executive - Legal at MCX in Mumbai, you will play a crucial role in drafting, vetting, and negotiating various Agreements such as Memorandum of Undertaking, Master Service Agreement, License Agreement, Service Level Agreements, Engagement Letters, General Terms and Conditions, NDAs, Bank Guarantees, official letters and communications, as well as various other Amendment Agreements & Addendums. Your responsibilities will also include scrutinizing the legal risks involved in agreements/contracts and drafting replies and responses to letters/queries from various authorities. You will be required to attend meetings with internal stakeholders to resolve their queries regarding agreements and also negotiate and close agreements with vendors. Additionally, you will be responsible for drafting templates of agreements, revising existing templates to enhance robustness, and drafting clauses, provisions, and documents to comply with internal and regulatory policies. Researching on legal issues, maintaining records, trackers, and MIS, advising internal stakeholders on regulatory compliance, and being well-versed with The India Contract Act, 1872 and The Companies Act 2013 are key aspects of this role. You will also be expected to identify and mitigate risks associated with agreements/contracts and provide guidance to ensure regulatory requirements are met.
