Senior Executive - Debt Management Services - Consumer
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Executive to join our Debt Management Services team, focusing on consumer portfolios. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in debt collection, customer relationship management, and regulatory compliance. This role requires exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities

Oversee and manage consumer debt portfolios to ensure effective collections and recovery processes.

Develop and implement strategies for reducing delinquency and improving recovery rates.

Monitor collection agents' performance and provide guidance, training, and support as needed.

Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies regarding debt management and consumer rights.

Handle escalated cases and negotiate settlement agreements with consumers when necessary.

Prepare and present regular reports on portfolio performance and collection activities to senior management.

Collaborate with internal departments such as legal, risk, and customer service to resolve complex cases.

Identify process improvement opportunities and implement best practices in debt management operations.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in debt management, collection services, or a similar role within the consumer finance sector.

Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to debt collection.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Proficient in MS Office Suite and debt management software.

Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing teams or projects.

Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
