Job Summary:

The Senior Executive Accounts will manage comprehensive accounting functions with a strong emphasis on US accounting standards and regulations. This role includes overseeing daily accounting operations, preparing financial reports, ensuring compliance, and supporting strategic financial decision-making for MSM Unify's expanding operations. The position is based in Gurugram and requires expertise in US GAAP, financial analysis, and accounting software, collaborating with global teams to ensure financial integrity and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage daily accounting tasks including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger maintenance.
• Prepare accurate and timely US-based financial statements, reports, and tax filings.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS, and other applicable regulations.
• Conduct detailed financial data analysis to assist management in budgeting and forecasting.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, liaising with auditors to ensure smooth audit processes.
• Maintain and implement internal financial controls and policies to safeguard company assets.
• Support cross-border accounting transactions, currency conversions, and multi-jurisdictional reporting.
• Collaborate with US and international finance teams for consolidated reporting and compliance.
• Generate ad hoc financial reports and assist in financial process improvements.
• Mentor and guide junior accounting staff where applicable.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting roles, with at least 2 years focused on US accounting standards.
• CPA certification or equivalent US accounting qualification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, SAP, or ERP systems.
• Advanced skills in MS Excel and financial reporting tools.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a multinational, cross-functional environment.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management abilities.

Desired Skills:

• Experience working in an EdTech or global education services company is an advantage.
• Ability to handle multi-currency transactions and international regulatory compliance.
• Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning within a multinational organization.
