Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Execute
end-to-end P2P payment processing
, including invoice validation, payment runs, and settlement.
Process payments via multiple modes such as
Wire, ACH, SEPA, Checks, and RTGS
.
Handle
vendor master validation
, payment blocks, holds, and releases.
Perform
payment file generation, bank uploads, and payment confirmations
.
Manage
payment rejections, reversals, and failed transactions
.
Ensure compliance with
SOX controls, audit requirements, and internal payment policies
.
Perform
bank reconciliations
and resolve open payment items.
Coordinate with
AP, Treasury, Banks, and Internal Stakeholders
to resolve payment issues.
Support
month-end closing activities
related to payments.
Maintain
SOPs, SLAs, and KPIs
for payment operations.
Participate in
process improvements and automation initiatives
.

Preferred candidate profile

35 years of hands-on experience
in
P2P payment processing
(core payments role).
Strong understanding of
end-to-end Procure-to-Pay cycle
.
Practical experience with
payment runs and bank interfaces
.
Knowledge of
SAP (ECC / S4 HANA) or other ERP systems
is highly preferred.
Experience with
global payments and multi-currency transactions
.
Familiarity with
SOX controls, audit support, and compliance requirements
.
