Senior ETL Tester (AWS + Snowflake)

Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a Senior ETL Tester with strong experience in AWS-based data pipelines and Snowflake to join our QA team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in testing ETL workflows, validating data across cloud platforms, and ensuring data quality and integrity at scale. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and execute ETL test cases , test scripts, and test plans. Validate data transformations, loads, and integration flows from various sources to Snowflake. Perform data quality checks , reconciliation, and backend testing using SQL. Work with AWS services (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, etc.) to validate cloud-based ETL processes. Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and data engineers to ensure test coverage and defect resolution. Analyze test results, identify data issues, and report findings clearly and effectively. Develop and maintain automation scripts for regression and functional testing (preferred). Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous process improvement. Required Skills: 6+ years of ETL/Data Warehouse Testing experience. Strong expertise in SQL and data validation techniques. Hands-on experience with Snowflake and testing data pipelines involving Snowflake tables, stages, and views. Good knowledge of AWS Data Services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, Athena, etc.). Experience in testing large-scale cloud-based ETL/ELT workflows . Familiar with data modeling concepts , data lineage, and metadata. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred: Experience with automation tools (e.g., Python, Selenium, DBT, or PyTest for data validation). Exposure to CI/CD pipelines for test automation.
