As a Senior Estimator at Mark Comprehensive LLP, a leading provider of diverse architectural products and services, you will play a crucial role in managing and leading the company's Estimation Process. Your responsibilities will include: - Monitoring: Regularly track and assess team progress, performance metrics, and project milestones to ensure goals are met and address any issues promptly. - Allocating tasks to team members - Reviewing Tasks: Regularly examine completed tasks to ensure quality control and alignment with required standards and objectives. - Project Analysis: Review project specifications, architectural drawings, and other relevant documents to understand requirements and scope. Conduct on-site visits if necessary. - Quantity Take-off & Material Estimation: Calculate the quantity of units, aluminium panels, framing, fasteners, sealants, and other materials based on project specifications and drawings. - Costing: Estimate costs of materials, labour, equipment, and other resources by analyzing prices from suppliers and subcontractors. - Labour Requirements: Assess labour needed for fabrication and installation, including worker numbers and project duration. - Budgeting and pricing: Develop project budgets and pricing proposals based on estimates and client expectations. - Coordination: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather necessary information and meet project requirements. - Value Engineering: Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. - Risk Assessment: Identify and mitigate potential project risks. - Documentation: Maintain accurate records of estimates and project specifications. - Quality Assurance: Ensure aluminium facade system meets quality standards and regulatory requirements. - Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, material prices, and technologies related to facade construction. Qualification and Skills: - Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical training and experience. - Minimum 2-3 years of relevant experience.
