Role Overview: As a Senior Estimator at MatBook, your role is essential in ensuring accurate, data-backed cost estimations for projects involving countertops, cabinets, casegoods, flooring, and windows. You will collaborate closely with project and procurement teams to produce competitive bids, enhance cost efficiency, and strengthen pricing intelligence for the US market. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs and cost estimates for projects involving countertops, cabinets, casegoods, flooring, and windows. - Analyze project drawings, plans, and specifications to prepare comprehensive cost summaries and bid proposals. - Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and procurement teams to ensure clarity on scope and deliverables. - Evaluate supplier and subcontractor quotations for accuracy, alignment with scope, and cost competitiveness. - Maintain a central cost database to enhance historical tracking, pricing accuracy, and project benchmarking. - Support bid preparation and submission, including documentation, pricing breakdowns, and technical clarifications. - Monitor market trends, material prices, and freight costs to ensure estimates remain competitive and reflective of current conditions. - Contribute to process improvement by refining estimation tools, templates, and workflows for speed and accuracy. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field. - Minimum 5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably within the US market (countertops, cabinets, casegoods, flooring, windows). - Strong proficiency in estimation tools such as Bluebeam, PlanSwift, or equivalent software. - Proven experience in quantity takeoffs, supplier quote analysis, and bid preparation. - Sound understanding of construction methods, materials, and procurement workflows. - Excellent analytical, numerical, and communication skills. - Ability to manage multiple estimates simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. - Strong sense of ownership, integrity, and attention to detail.,
