Senior Estimation Engineer

• Prepare accurate project cost estimates by analyzing drawings, BOQs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Assess materials, labor, equipment, subcontracting, and overhead costs for competitive estimation.
• Ensure all estimates align with project objectives, technical requirements, and budget constraints.

2. Market Data & Trend Analysis

• Track and analyze current market rates for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Incorporate market fluctuations and price trends into cost estimations using historical data and industry benchmarks.

3. Risk Assessment

• Identify, assess, and factor in risks such as price escalations, supply constraints, and project uncertainties.
• Work with project and supply chain teams to develop contingency provisions and mitigate estimation risks.

4. Material, Labour & Productivity Analysis

• Analyze labor requirements, productivity rates, and material consumption patterns.
• Use standard norms and internal benchmarks to estimate labor and material costs accurately.

5. Bidding & Tendering Management

• Prepare, manage, and submit bids/tenders ensuring accuracy, completeness, and client compliance.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, finance, and project teams for comprehensive bid preparation.
• Maintain end-to-end ownership of the tendering process.

6. Vendor & Subcontractor Coordination

• Negotiate with approved suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotes.
• Analyze vendor offers, assess techno-commercial compliance, and finalize cost inputs.

7. Budgeting

• Prepare project budgets based on estimation details.
• Analyze cost components and track deviations/updates for management review.

8. Communication & Stakeholder Management

• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, clients, and vendors.
• Present estimation findings clearly, using data-driven insights to support decisions.

9. Ownership & Accountability

• Take complete responsibility for assigned tenders and deliverables.
• Set and achieve goals while ensuring compliance with organizational standards and expectations.

10. Operational Excellence

• Adhere to SOPs, guidelines, and quality standards in estimation and tender processes.
• Ensure documentation accuracy, consistency, and compliance.
