Job Title :
Sr. Engineer Bid Support / Estimation
Reports to :
Lead Bid Support Type : Permanent On-roll Job Location : Bangalore, Karnataka.
Job Purpose:
The role is to be responsible for
conducting detailed on-Site Survey, preparation of Detailed BOM for overall SPVSystem, PV Layout, SLD, PV syst Simulation, Vendor interactions, Optimum CostEstimation etc., Also, candidates with detailed engineering experiences will behighly preferred.
Key Skills:
Strong Understanding in latest products and System related
to Solar PV , Electrical System Design, Solar Design, CAD, Electrical, Systemperformance, civil and mechanical, Regulatory and Standards Knowledge, latestMarket Trends like Energy Storage[BESS], Hybrid Renewable energy will bepreferred.
Description of the key roles and responsibilities,
- Single point responsibility for Bid
Estimation/Proposal during Business development process for Ground / Roof mounted solar systems by doing
Detailed system design conceptualization, arriving at optimum generation datausing PV Syst Simulation Tool, Preparing CAD based PV Layouts & SLD, ShadowAnalysis using Sketch-up Tool, Estimation of Bill of materials, Vendor interactions, Optimum Cost Estimation, Tener documents as a part
of submission to customer in coordination with BD Team.
- Responsible for Optimum BOQ with Cost Estimation
of overall Solar PV System to support BD Team.
- Responsible for obtaining necessary inputs from
internal standards/BD team / external customers for designing optimum solarsystem and attending customer meetings as and when necessary.
- Responsible for on time preparation and
submission of required documents as per Tender/BD requirements.
- A self- initiator, you will be able to manage
your time and take the initiative
- The person who wants to participate strongly in
the development of a growing business.
- Flexibility to work and adapt himself to
different cultures and new projects
Minimum technical Expertise with
Skills and tools
- Hand on Expertise in Running Software Tools like
PVSYST, PVSol etc.,
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD & Google
SketchUp, Solar Labs, Virto CAD, Helioscope, etc.,
- Expertise in MS office package
- Should have birdeye view on entire solar
system including detailed Site Survey, state wise solar Policy, civil andstructural elements of solar system.
- Excellent communication skills minimum written
and spoken English and Hindi
- Project Expertise: o Hands-on
experience in designing and implementing commercial solar projects.
o Strong
understanding of solar system design, including layout optimization and costestimation.
- Soft Skills: o Exceptional interpersonal and
communication skills, with the ability to listen, understand, and conveytechnical concepts effectively.
o Strong planning and organizational abilities, attention to
detail, and time management. o Initiative-driven, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
