Job Description

Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.

Responsibilities and Duties:

Run, analyse, report and maintain regression test suites.
Design, create and refine automation scripts using Python or Robot Framework for access network product.
Trouble shooting router, switch, OLT, home gateway, L2/L3 protocol and Cloud issues found during the test.
Keep improve automation test efficiency and script stability.
Co-work with development team and others to improve automation coverage.

Qualifications:

B.Tech, B.E, M.Tech or equivalent, MS Preferred. Branch (Electronics and Telecommunication, Applied Electronics, Computer Science).
5+ years of experience developing automation using one or more of the following: Python/Robot Framework/Perl/Shell/TCL/Ruby.
5+ years of experience with data communications or telecommunications product testing in one or more of the following areas DHCPv4/v6, IGMP, PIM, PPPoE, OMCI, NETCONF, BGP, ISIS, OSPF, MPLS, VPLS, PW etc.
Familiar with Linux system/tools.
Experience with CI, Bamboo, Jenkins, Git, bitbucket, Jira.
Excellent communication skills and a good team player.
Self-motivated, persistent, fast learner, and innovative

Preferred Qualifications:

Hands on experience on executing and maintaining regression test suites.
Hands on experience with traffic generators such as IXIA, STC.
Hands on experience with Datacom Testing.
