Job Description

Role & responsibilities Equipment Maintenance & Troubleshooting Expertise in diagnosing and fixing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in CNC machines, presses, and other sheet metal equipment. Preventive & Predictive Maintenance Implementing proactive maintenance strategies to minimize downtime and improve asset reliability. Condition Monitoring Knowledge of vibration analysis, thermography, and oil analysis to predict failures. PLC, SCADA, and Automation Systems Understanding of industrial automation, control systems, and programming. Lean Manufacturing & TPM (Total Productive Maintenance)—Applying lean principles and TPM for process improvement. Inventory & Spare Parts Management – Efficiently handling spare parts procurement and inventory control. Root Cause Analysis (RCA)—Using methodologies like 5-Why and Fishbone Diagram to identify and resolve recurring failures. Energy Management— Optimizing energy consumption of machines and utilities. Safety & Compliance – Ensuring adherence to industry safety standards and government regulations. Preferred candidate profile Education: Diploma/degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or a related field. Experience: 3+ years in industrial maintenance, preferably in sheet metal manufacturing or a similar industry. Technical Skills: Knowledge of PLCs, CNC machines, hydraulics, pneumatics, welding equipment, and industrial automation. Software: Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) and MS Office. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving ability, leadership, and communication skills.
