Description
Role & responsibilities Preventive & Predictive Maintenance: Perform scheduled maintenance of machines such as press brakes, shearing machines, CNC laser cutting machines, stamping presses, and welding equipment. Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, lubrication needs, and part replacements. Maintain maintenance logs and update records of performed activities. 2. Breakdown Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Identify and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues. Repair or replace faulty parts and restore machines to operational condition. Work closely with the production team to resolve breakdowns quickly and minimize downtime. 3. Electrical & Mechanical Equipment Maintenance: Perform wiring, motor maintenance, sensor calibration, and control panel troubleshooting. Maintain and service pneumatic and hydraulic systems. Check alignment, bearings, belts, and gearboxes for proper functioning. 4. Safety & Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and wear PPE while performing maintenance tasks. Ensure compliance with plant safety and regulatory requirements. Report hazards and participate in safety audits. 5. Spare Parts Management: Assist in maintaining the inventory of critical spare parts. Ensure proper handling and storage of tools and equipment. Inform supervisors about required spare parts for repairs. 6. Continuous Improvement & 5S: Participate in Kaizen, 5S, and other continuous improvement initiatives. Assist in energy-saving and cost-reduction projects. Preferred candidate profile Education: ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Mechanical / Electrical / Fitter / Electrician. Experience: 2+ years in industrial maintenance, preferably in a sheet metal manufacturing setup. Technical Skills: Knowledge of mechanical systems, wiring, motors, pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic circuits, and welding equipment.
