Job Description

Role & responsibilities Assemble, fit, and repair press tools, dies, and jigs according to engineering drawings and specifications. Perform grinding, drilling, and lathe operations to modify or repair dies. Inspect, troubleshoot, and rectify die defects to ensure optimal performance. Conduct preventive maintenance on dies to minimize downtime in production. Work with toolmakers, machinists, and production engineers to improve die performance. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to ensure precision. Maintain documentation and records of die maintenance and repairs. Preferred candidate profile Education : ITI/Diploma in Tool & Die Making, Mechanical Engineering, or related field. Experience : 2+ years in die fitting, tool room, or precision machining. Knowledge of press tools, molds, jigs, and fixtures . Proficiency in using lathe, milling, and grinding machines . Understanding of die maintenance and troubleshooting techniques . Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T . Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems (preferred).
