Role Description
Infrastructure Core Products (ICP) - Global Network Services (GNS) is responsible for the engineering, development, and operation of DBs Group-wide network for all areas of the Bank. GNS supports all aspects of network infrastructure in over 2500 offices in 50 countries.Under the direction of Product Lead, AVP will work as a facilitator all the communication and collaboration between leadership and team players to ensure successful business outcomes. This individual will be responsible for automating deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and speed up release cycles. The individual should not only be technically sound but also passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and driving meaningful change.

Your key responsibilities
Design and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AnsibleCollaborate with development and operations teams to establish the best practices for code management and version controlMonitor and maintain cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability and performanceAutomate deployment processes to reduce manual intervention and speed up release cyclesProvide training and support to team members on Infrastructure as Code methodologies and toolsManage and optimize resource inventory to minimize costs while meeting performance requirementsCoordinate with cross-functional teams to integrate Infrastructure as Code practices into existing workflowsDevelop and maintain documentation for infrastructure configurations and operational proceduresParticipate in incident response and troubleshooting to resolve infrastructure-related issues promptlyResponsible for delivering the requisite level of network resiliency and for testing network failoverSupport project managers and the regional management team in project planning, tracking, and reporting when required
Your skills and experience
5-10 years of experience working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutionsProficiency in Linux/Unixmust be comfortable working with Linux and Unix-like systems, as these are commonly used in server environmentsMonitoring and Incident Managementshould be skilled in using monitoring tools (e.g., Datadog, Prometheus) to track system performance and respond to incidents effectivelyUnderstanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, etc.)Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet or equivalentProficiency in network automation tools and scripting languages like YAML, JSON, or PythonExperience with version control systems, preferably GitProficiency in tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or AWS CloudFormationStrong understanding of cloud computing platforms like Google CloudGood to have knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and KubernetesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong communication skills for effective collaboration across teamsAbility to work in an Agile environment and adapt to changing requirementsAbility to mentor resources and guide project teamsStrict adherence to change procedures and design/configuration guidelinesAble to work independently and as a member of a teamCertified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNP or comparable)The role requires flexibility to work evenings and weekends due to business requirements
