Role Overview

The Senior Engineer Certifications will be responsible for managing ISO standards, BIS

licensing, product certifications, and compliance requirements across the organization. The

role ensures that all certification processes, audits, and documentation are maintained in

accordance with national and international quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. ISO & Certification Management

• - Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 50001, and ISO 45001 management system

documentation.

- Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory certification requirements.

2. Product Certification (BIS & ISI)

• - Maintain Standard Test Instructions (STI) of all furniture products as per BIS

standards.

- Ensure records of monthly production of ISI-marked products are accurately

maintained.

- Upload monthly production data and consignee details on the BIS portal.

3. Testing & Calibration

• - Maintain calibration records for measuring instruments.

- Coordinate with external laboratories for periodic product testing.

- Prepare Material Test Certificates (MTC) as required.

4. Coordination with BIS & External Agencies

• - Coordinate with BIS sample cell for sending samples to authorized laboratories.

- Liaise with BIS officials and external agencies during inspections, audits, and

approvals.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Qualification:

Graduate Engineer (preferably Mechanical/Production/Industrial).

- Experience: 2- 3 years of experience in certification management, BIS licensing, or quality

systems in furniture/manufacturing industry.

- Skills Required:

• Strong knowledge of ISO & BIS standards.

• Familiarity with calibration and testing processes.

• Good communication and documentation skills.

• Ability to coordinate with external labs and certification bodies.
