Senior Engineer - Business Development ( Sales & Marketing)

About the Job

We are looking for experienced candidates (min. 7 yrs) to join our Sales & NPD team.

If selected, the candidates will lead the Sales & Marketing initiatives and be the Key Account Executive for domestic and international Customers - The candidate must work with Associates & Trainees to meet the company goals of Revenue generation & Growth. The candidate must regularly meet TPIs customers, ensure highest quality for all deliverables & consistently report back to the TPI leadership team.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Continuously look for new customers & opportunities
2. Process RFQs received from customer & share costing on time
3. Work with NPD Associates & Trainees to convert RFQ into Purchase Order
4. Support Tooling department in conceptualizing Tool design
5. Negotiate commercials with customers to obtain Purchase Orders
6. Project Manage multiple projects simultaneously:

• Prepare Project timelines
• Get approvals from internal & customer teams
• Regularly update timelines & share with customer
• Ensure all projects are completed on time
• Ensure highest quality of all deliverables

Desired Candidate Profile

• Highly motivated & driven team player
• Engineering Graduate (Preferably Mechanical/Production/Industrial)
• Minimum 4 to 6 years experience in Manufacturing company
• Must have exposure working with Plastics Raw Materials
• Fluent in MS OFFICE (Primarily MS Excel)
• Ability to read 2D / 3D drawings
• Good Communication Skill (English 3/5 || Tamil 4/5)
• Must be within 40 mins by bike ride to the factory or willing to relocate
