Senior Engineer - Back End

Main Duties & Scope of the role

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. This role requires strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a passion for creating efficient, scalable, and reliable backend systems.

Key Responsibilities-

System Development:

1. Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and services.

2. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in programming languages such as C#

Database Management:

1. Design and optimize database schemas.

2. Ensure data integrity, security, and efficient access to stored data.

API Development:

1. Create and maintain RESTful or GraphQL APIs for frontend and third-party integration.

2. Ensure APIs are well-documented and secure.

System Optimization:

1. Monitor and improve application performance and scalability.

2. Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions.

Collaboration:

1. Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and product owners to define and implement new features.

2. Collaborate with DevOps teams for deployment and CI/CD pipeline management.

Security and Compliance:

1. Implement best practices for data security and user privacy.

2. Stay updated with industry standards and regulations.

Troubleshooting:

1. Debug and resolve technical issues across services and systems.

2. Provide support for production systems and resolve critical incidents.

About the Candidate (including required competencies)

• Understanding of the .NET Framework, .NET Core, and the latest .NET versions.
• Knowledge of the differences between .NET Framework and .NET Core.
• Strong proficiency in C# for building applications.
• Knowledge of database systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).
• Experience with API design and development (e.g., REST, GraphQL)
• Familiarity with version control tools ([e.g., Git]).
• Understanding of cloud platforms ([e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborative: Work effectively with cross-functional teams to shape the product vision and maximize delivery value.

Requirements & Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

7-9 years of experience in backend development.
