About the Role:

Senior Engineer – Automated Test Engineering (Embedded)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute

    manual test cases

    for embedded systems.
  • Automate tests using

    BDD frameworks with Python

    .
  • Perform

    functional, integration, system, and regression testing

    for hardware and software.
  • Collaborate with developers and stakeholders to define

    test strategies

    .
  • Identify, document, and track defects (

    JIRA

    ).
  • Conduct

    hands-on testing

    and set up hardware test environments.
  • Analyse logs and hardware behaviour to identify

    root causes

    .
  • Maintain

    test plans, documentation, and coverage

    .
  • Report progress and

    quality metrics

    regularly.


Qualifications & Skills:

  • 9+ years in

    manual and automation testing

    of embedded systems.
  • Strong understanding of

    hardware-software interactions

    .
  • Ability to

    read technical specifications

    .
  • Familiar with

    JIRA

    and Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Knowledge of

    Linux OS and basic shell commands

    .
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
