Senior Electrical Technician

Job Description:

An Electrical Technician in a restaurant ensures the safe, efficient operation and maintenance of all electrical systems. This includes routine inspections, emergency repairs, and preventive maintenance to support kitchen appliances, lighting, HVAC systems, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, and other critical electrical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and maintain electrical systems—including wiring, circuits, lighting, receptacles, and kitchen equipment.
• Install, upgrade, and regularly inspect electrical fixtures, panels, and wiring to ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
• Conduct preventive maintenance programs to optimize system reliability and reduce downtime.
• Respond swiftly to electrical emergencies, e.g., equipment failures or outlets not functioning.
• Maintain detailed records of service, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Stay up-to-date with technological improvements in restaurant power systems and safety equipment.

Required Qualifications

• Certification as a licensed electrician, electrical technician, or equivalent trade-level credential
• Proven experience—ideally 2–5 years—with wiring, electrical troubleshooting, installations, and maintenance (preferably within commercial or food-service environments).
• Skilled in reading schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with kitchen systems (e.g., refrigeration, ovens, ventilation).
• Proficient using electrical tools—multimeters, cable testers, circuit tracers, etc.
• Excellent communication skills, teamwork orientation, and a strong safety mindset.

Preferred Qualifications

• Formal degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field.
• Experience working directly in restaurant or hospitality electrical maintenance.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
