Job Description

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to lead design, planning, and integration activities for large-scale solar farms, including grid synchronization and BESS solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare electrical designs: SLDs, layouts, schematics, grid integration drawings.
Develop scheme drawings for transformers (HT/LT), control panels, and auxiliary systems.
Prepare BOQs and support material planning for cost-efficient procurement.
Support BESS integration planning and coordination with vendors.
Ensure compliance with Indian & international electrical standards, CEA regulations.
Provide documentation, technical support, and participation during testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning.

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (Masters preferred).
10+ years in the solar industry OR 5+ years in solar farm + grid integration design.
Strong expertise in electrical design, SLDs, schemes, HT/LT systems.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar design tools.
Knowledge of Indian grid standards, renewable energy policies, and BESS design/integration.
Excellent communication and documentation skills.

Preferred Skills

Knowledge of SCADA integration.
Understanding of CEA grid codes and regulatory compliance.
Certifications in renewable energy or project management (e.g., PMP).
