Job Description

Location: Preferred Goa (India), limited to India

The Role

Django backend

You’ll design APIs, implement UI logic, and manage everything from models to Docker deployments.

hands-on, high-ownership role

What You’ll Do

Own full-stack development:
backend in Django + Django REST Framework, frontend in Django templates or React components.
Build and refine APIs
for tenant-aware projects, tasks, and automation pipelines.
Implement modern UIs
— dynamic dashboards, live updates, and real-time interactions.
Lead deployment workflows
using Docker, Docker Compose, GitHub Actions, and Ubuntu-based production servers.
Configure and maintain
PostgreSQL
,
Redis
, and
Nginx
for scalable, secure multi-tenant performance.
Ensure
web security best practices
— HTTPS, CSRF/CORS, input validation, and secure authentication.
Establish technical standards (Git branching, CI/CD, code reviews) and guide future hires.

What You Bring

5+ years building
production Django applications
. Experience with django-tenants, PostgreSQL, Celery and django ecosystem.
Strong grasp of
frontend fundamentals
— HTML, CSS, JavaScript, templating, and modern UI logic.
Solid understanding of
Docker
,
Git
, and
Linux server environments
.
Working knowledge of
networking basics
— ports, DNS, proxies, and SSL/TLS.
Strong attention to
security, performance, and maintainability

Startup-ready mindset: self-driven, resourceful, and comfortable with autonomy.
