Job Description

We re seeking a high-ownership, strategic leader to join Mindshare India as Senior Director Client Leadership . You should be proficient in creating integrated media solutions and manage multiple brands. You will also be responsible for handling day to day operations and ensure smooth functioning of the team and processes.

Role Progression & Key Milestones
In 3 Months:
  • Gain deep understanding of the client categories (Retail, Eyecare, Apparel) and their business objectives.
  • Understand the agencys strategic priorities, proprietary tools, and performance metrics.
  • Build rapport with client stakeholders and internal cross-functional teams.
In 6 Months:
  • Lead strategic and operational planning for assigned brands.
  • Initiate and deliver at least 2 key transformation or innovation projects (e.g., market entry strategy, measurement framework, retail media integration).
  • Demonstrate proficiency in WPP/Mindshare s proprietary tools and platforms in client engagements.
  • Contribute to quarterly reviews, business plans, and client growth strategies.
In 12 Months:
  • Champion award-worthy work by initiating case development and recognition opportunities (e.g., Emvies, Cannes, MMA).
  • Be seen as a trusted advisor by clients and a growth enabler by the internal teams.
  • Mentor a strong planning team, foster career development, and ensure team health and stability.
  • Contribute to regional/global network conversations as a category expert from India.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic thinking and communication planning for your brands, aligning media solutions with business and brand goals.
  • Act as the senior-most point of contact for clients; guide decision-making on media investments, innovations, and performance reporting.
  • Provide leadership on omnichannel media strategies including TV, digital, retail media, content, influencer, commerce, and branded activations.
  • Drive media interventions that are insight-led, data-backed, and performance-focused. Identify opportunities to deliver measurable business impact.
  • Lead and mentor a planning team, build domain expertise, and cultivate a strong internal culture of excellence and curiosity.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (digital, data, activation, content, analytics), WPP partners, and external vendors to deliver best-in-class outcomes.
What You ll Bring:
  • Strong experience in client leadership roles within media agencies with exposure to diverse verticals like Retail, FMCG, and Fashion .
  • Hands-on knowledge of TV & Digital planning , Planning strategy , e-commerce , and performance-led media .
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills.
  • High on ownership
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior and platform ecosystems in India.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple clients and teams simultaneously.
  • Strategic problem-solving abilities, with an eye for creative innovation.

Qualifications:

  • Deep exposure to TV planning and buying .
  • Solid grounding in digital platforms, content, and e-commerce ecosystems .
  • Post-graduate degree (preferably MBA Marketing).
