Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced DevOps / SRE Engineer with expertise in GitHub to GitLab migration, strong Python programming, deep knowledge of AWS Cloud, and hands-on experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE). The selected candidate will modernize CI/CD pipelines, improve cloud infrastructure, and ensure high system reliability and scalability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute GitHub to GitLab migration, including CI/CD setup, repository restructuring, and integrations.
• Design, implement, and manage scalable AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Develop automation tools and scripts using Python to streamline deployments and operations.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless software delivery.
• Apply SRE principles (monitoring, observability, incident response, SLIs/SLOs/SLAs) to improve system reliability.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams for smooth releases and high availability.
• Ensure best practices in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), configuration management, and security compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 7+ years in DevOps / SRE roles.
• Proven experience in GitHub to GitLab migration projects.
• Strong Python programming/scripting skills.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, ECS/EKS, CloudWatch).
• Expertise in CI/CD pipelines, automation, Docker, Kubernetes.
• Deep understanding of SRE concepts, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch), and incident management.
• Experience with IaC tools (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
• Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.

Good to Have:

• AWS, GitLab, or Kubernetes certifications.
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments.
• Experience in DevOps security and compliance.

Eligibility:

• Candidate must be based in Pune or willing to relocate.
