About the Opportunity

Senior DevOps Engineer

The ideal candidate will bring solid computer science fundamentals, deep experience managing Linux systems, hands-on knowledge of automation, and a track record of building robust cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with engineering teams to design, manage, and scale AWS infrastructure.
• Own deployment automation and champion infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Manage

  Linux environments

  including system administration, troubleshooting, and performance tuning.
• Configure and maintain DNS, load balancers, and system monitoring tools.
• Improve system stability, security, and operational visibility.
• Support CI/CD pipelines for reliable software delivery.
• Recommend and implement best practices for cloud security and compliance.

Key Requirements

• 4+ years of professional experience

  in DevOps roles.
• Strong computer science fundamentals and proven programming ability.

• Deep expertise in Linux administration

  (mandatory).

• Proficiency in Bash scripting

  (mandatory); Ruby or Python scripting experience is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, S3, RDS, etc.) or similar cloud platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI).
• Strong understanding of networking, DNS, and load balancing.
• Knowledge of security best practices for cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data workflows or ETL pipelines.
• Familiarity with JavaScript build systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s/Ph.D. welcome).
