Senior Devops Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment automation.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Bash / Shell / Python.
• Administer and optimize Linux environments ensuring security, scalability, and performance.
• Deploy, manage, and monitor Kubernetes clusters across production and non-production environments.
• Build, modify, and maintain Helm Charts for application deployments.
• Implement DevOps best practices including CI/CD, GitOps, security, and release governance.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and cloud teams to automate workflows and reduce manual effort.
• Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline issues, cluster incidents, container deployment failures and ensure timely recovery.
• Ensure smooth versioning, packaging, and delivery of microservices and applications.
• Participate in system architecture discussions and contribute to DevOps strategy and tool adoption.

Skills Required:

• 8-10 years of experience in DevOps / Build & Release
• Strong hands-on experience in GitLab CI/CD configuration and automation
• Expert scripting skills in Shell / Bash / Python
• Proficiency in Linux administration (performance, security, troubleshooting)
• Experience with Kubernetes (K8s) deployment, scaling, monitoring & debugging
• Proficient in developing & managing Helm Charts
• Experience with Docker / Microservices deployments
• Understanding of CI/CD, GitOps, Security, Change & Release management
• Experience with monitoring & logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK) is a plus
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
