Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Senior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic team in the field of book publishing. As a Senior Graphic Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating visually compelling and innovative designs for our diverse range of books. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in graphic design, exceptional creativity, and a keen understanding of the book publishing industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Book Cover Design:Conceptualize and design captivating book covers that resonate with the target audience and effectively communicate the essence of the book.
Collaborate with authors, editors, and marketing teams to ensure that the cover designs align with the overall marketing strategy.

Interior Layout Design:Create visually appealing and reader-friendly layouts for the interior of books, considering typography, imagery, and overall aesthetic.
Ensure adherence to industry standards and formatting guidelines during the layout design process.

Series and Collection Design:Develop cohesive design elements for book series or collections to maintain a consistent brand identity across multiple titles.

Illustration and Art Direction:Coordinate with illustrators and artists to commission or create original artwork for book covers and interior pages.
Provide art direction to ensure that illustrations align with the vision and theme of each book.

Typography and Font Selection:Choose appropriate fonts and typography styles that enhance the readability and visual appeal of the book's content.

Print and Production Coordination:Collaborate with printers and production teams to ensure high-quality output of designed materials.
Conduct quality checks during the printing process to maintain design integrity.

Stay Updated on Design Trends:Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging design technologies, and new software to continually improve design processes and outcomes.

Project Management:Effectively manage multiple design projects simultaneously, adhering to deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in the book publishing industry.
• Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of book cover designs and interior layouts.
• Excellent understanding of typography, color theory, and design principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and communicate effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a keen eye for design aesthetics.
• Familiarity with printing processes and production workflows.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
