Senior Design Manager, Creative Services

As a Senior Design Manager at Bain & Company's Creative Services department, your primary objective is to offer strategic design advice and guidance to client teams, business partners, and design teams. You will be responsible for influencing, shaping, executing, and delivering creative solutions and experiences tailored to high-impact client situations and commercial objectives. Your role will involve managing and mentoring a team of design managers and senior designers to deliver on client requirements and expectations. Your leadership will be essential in fostering a positive team environment that encourages creativity, innovation, problem-solving, and continuous learning. **Responsibilities:** - Act as an expert integrated designer and project manager, focusing on regional/global high-impact client experiences - Provide strategic advice and design solutions to support Bain's client and commercial activities - Collaborate with senior leadership on financial planning and scaling regional design services - Lead opportunities for team and design service growth and performance improvements - Manage and mentor a team of Design Managers and senior designers - Ensure team performance meets Creative Services KPIs and service levels - Cultivate a team environment that promotes growth, learning, and development - Coach and guide individual performance and growth through timely feedback and professional development check-ins **Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities:** - Lead and execute design projects, manage customer expectations, and define project objectives/goals clearly - Deliver high-standards of design service delivery across regions - Prioritize immediate and short-term goals for design projects based on evolving business needs - Balance regional/global design teams to deliver projects on time through innovative problem-solving - Own individual work and lead projects across a team of designers to deliver high-quality results **Requirements:** - 10+ years of work experience - Senior leadership experience with regional/global virtual teams - Expert knowledge in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite - Fluency in written and spoken English - Excellent communications and influencing skills - Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience,
